I am an artist working in Oil Painting and Ceramics.  My work in both media is based on abstract forms in sculptural studio ceramics and my painting is expressionist with inspiration coming from the movement in natural forms with an emphasis on impasto textures and vibrant animating colour

My paintings work to create impact using scale and vivid chromatic colour.   I see my paintings as two-dimensional sculptural works. 

I have been studying sculptural ceramics both formally in college and through masterclasses and independently developing and exploring ideas.   There is a strong visual connection between my three dimensional works in ceramics and my paintings which I think of almost as sculptures on canvas.   The emphasis on texture and colour links the two mediums.  

I graduated with a BA (hons) in Fine Art in 2022. Morley College/University of East London
